Shine’s not normal in the least and is, in fact, not even human. A scout from a distant planet, Shine was sent to study humans and found herself deeply attached to a choice few. For a while, she did her job well and made friends with the local inhabitants; using her little house as a base where she put everything together as best she could. However, plans change when you’ve had time to think things over. Unable to see the planet fall to the ruthless empire she once served under, Shine permanently altered herself to be human and made it her sworn duty to protect them from whatever the empire throws their way. Now all she needs to do is learn how things work. Being lovable to a fault and overly curious, she tends to get herself into trouble even when she isn’t trying. From getting herself stuck in the rain (which burns her skin) to taking on a job at a local diner she can barely keep up with, it’s easy to see that she gets in over her head sometimes. Shine always wants to help and learn, quite quick to ask questions, but has many fears of human culture and lifestyle. Her biggest fear would have to be the supernatural (ironic, isn’t it?) but fear never slows her down. Shine is an all around good person/alien with a quick mind and a big heart.

This is Shine as an older human. She’s in a different style because…. Well I like this style a little better for detail.
I’m also trying out costume designs for her. Sometimes I think she should just be one of those characters who never wears the same thing twice and has really random styles. I actually have a picture of her in a parka and shorts. Hilarious.
